Eaton Posi Traction carrier for Factory Ford 8.8 housing. This clutch type Ford 31 spline posi-traction has 40 pounds of preload. Recommended for smooth operation street applications that are limited to 31 spline axles. 

Works and compatible with 3.08 and up ratios

There are a number of excellent aftermarket posi-traction units which have proven to be exceptionally reliable in increased power street machines. These units provide increased traction prior to wheel spin. This is accomplished through the use of pre-loaded friction discs and, to some degree, the wedging action of the axle gear. This distributes torque to the wheel with superior traction rather than letting the wheel without traction to spin free. All Eaton™ units are equipped with carbon fiber clutches.
