Ford 9.5" MW Low Friction Gears

Ford 9.5" MW Low Friction Gears are used in MWE 57022 Pro Stock Low Friction Third members. The ring and pinions can be used in a Third members that has 28 or 35 pinion, by changing to a 57675 Pinon Support and using a 39936 aluminum yoke or a 40060 coupler. These gear sets offer larger input 32 spline size for increased strength over the smaller 28 spline pinion.

Manufactured from ultra-tough 9310 steel, these gears are specifically engineered for drag racing and competition use where extreme torque loads and high horsepower are the demanded. Unlike street gears, Pro Gears are designed for the strip, trading longevity for the ability to withstand repeated hard launches and shock loading without failure.

These gears are manufactured for MW by Velvet Drive, the original manufacturer for Richmond brand gears. The quality is the same as pre-2002 Richmond brand gears.
