Mopar Pro Street 4130 Housing Ends for 3.150" Bearing. This ends use a Timken® unit bearing (p/n 58506) and a heavy duty outside seal for Pro Street applications. This end has provision for a inboard seal in the event of bearing leakage. If using a OEM brake backing plate the center hole must be enlarged to 3.150" so the backing plate will go over the larger bearing.

Mark Williams housing ends provide an excellent way to narrow a rear end housing. They also allow increased axle strength by utilizing a larger wheel bearing compared to factory. The ends have a prevision for an inboard seal in the event of bearing leakage.
Mark Williams housing ends are different than the competition. We start with a heat treated 4130 forging for a stronger component. Most modern race rear ends are built using 4130 chromoly tubing for the housing, so keeping that strenght with the housing end is crucial. Simply put 4130 is chosen for its higher overall strength, toughness, and ductility so why risk using mild steel or 8620 in this high load situation?
Our ends are slightly longer than the other on the market, allowing for an inboard seal in case you have a leaky wheel bearing. Being further out the weld distortion doesn’t have an effect on the diameter for the bearing. Mark Williams housing ends are bored with a very slight taper that allows the housing end to distort slightly, but not get tight on the bearing. The difference is real!
