Ford C6 Slip Yoke 1350 30 Spline Extreme Duty 4340 - Quick Release

Mark Williams Extreme Duty transmission slip yokes are machined from high strength 4340 steel and thru hardened in house for ultimate strength. All machining is done in relationship to the spline pitch diameter to ensure each yoke is symmetrical for balance and smooth operation. 

Rapid release yokes allow the driveshaft to be disconnected at the transmission rather than at the pinion. The cap design prevents over-tightening and possible damage to the u-joint cups. Care must be taken not to mix u-joint caps and maintain indexing after shaft is balanced. MW-built driveshafts with these yokes have identifying index marks.

*Note* Our previous design rapid release yokes had threaded holes in the ears for cap attachment, and were sold with standard caps. New style rapid release yokes have a through hole in the ears for cap attachment using the 2nd Generation alloy steel cap kit for added strength.
